New Dynamic Model of Family Spirituality

New, Dynamic Model of Family Spirituality

Families need opportunities to experience their Catholic faith more meaningfully in the home. During the Renewing Catholic Family Life Webinar Series, Dr. Gregory and Lisa Popcak of the Peyton Institute for Domestic Church Life will explore a new, dynamic model of family spirituality and family ministry: the Liturgy of Domestic Church Life. Faithfully Catholic and drawing from the best insights from the social sciences, the Liturgy of Domestic Church Life helps families experience the faith as the source of warmth in their homes and pass it on to the next generation.

The five-week series is open to diocesan and parish leaders, family life ministers, clergy, educators, and anyone involved in ministry that touches family life. Participants will discover a new approach for family ministry that will empower all families to:

• Live the “Catholic difference” in their relationships
• Meet Christ more meaningfully in the day-to-day activities of family life
• Love and cherish each other more deeply
• Create rituals that strengthen their ability to work, play, talk, and pray together
• Become the primary engines of evangelization and positive social change

The webinars will take place on the five consecutive Fridays from July 8 to Aug. 5 at 11:30 a.m. (ET). Each 90-minute session will involve ample opportunity to learn, discuss, and apply the concepts presented. Participants will leave each webinar with new insights and practical ideas to transform Catholic family life.

Please consider recommending the series to staff at your parish, diocese, or chancery who may be interested. More information and registration are available here.
