Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are to assist the priest and/or deacon at mass for the orderly and reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of the Lord. The EMHC will receive training , formation, and support for the preparation to fulfill their role with knowledge and reverence. We also have a spiritual retreat and recommissioning of the ministers every year.
