Safe Environment

St. Ann’s is deeply committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all individuals, especially children and vulnerable adults. We understand the importance of protecting our community members from harm and have implemented comprehensive measures to ensure their safety.

In alignment with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)’s Charter for the Protection of Children & Young People, St. Ann’s has adopted rigorous policies and procedures to safeguard our community. We adhere to the highest standards of conduct and have implemented a robust system for reporting and addressing any concerns related to child or adult protection.

To further strengthen our commitment to safety, the Diocese of Charleston has chosen Virtus Training for all volunteers who have regular access to children or vulnerable adults. This comprehensive training program equips our volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and prevent potential harm.

St. Ann’s is dedicated to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and safety. We believe that every individual deserves to feel protected and valued. If you have any concerns or questions related to child or adult protection, please do not hesitate to contact our parish staff.
